Leveling Guide — Levels 1 to 50
Thomas Van walks through EverQuest Legends leveling from 1 to 50 with zone routes, camp strategies, multiclass combo suggestions, and combo builder scoring before the level 11 primary lock.
Structured Progression Before Primary Lock
Thomas Van's leveling guide covers the full 1–50 journey using publicly available information ahead of the July 28, 2026 launch. The video emphasizes planning your three-class combo in the class combo builder before level eleven locks your primary — a decision you cannot reverse. Pair with our written leveling guide and multiclass loadouts guide for zone tables and loadout swap rules.
From levels 1–10 all three classes gain XP together. After level eleven, only classes in your active loadout earn experience, and your effective level equals the lowest class in that preset. The video explains why leveling all classes evenly before swapping loadouts prevents accidental de-leveling.
Zone Routes and Camp Strategies
The walkthrough maps efficient outdoor camps and dungeon chains across Antonica, Faydwer, and Odus. Early levels focus on starter city quests and Crushbone (revamped July 14 for levels 4–22). Mid-levels transition through Blackburrow, Mistmoore, and Splitpaw (revamped for levels 25–42). High levels target Lower Guk, Cazic-Thule, and Nagafen/Vox raid prep.
Thomas recommends matching difficulty tiers to your gear — D0 while learning zones, D2 in pickup groups, D3+ when merged gear supports it. Personal loot means you never compete for drops while grouping.
Combo Suggestions and Build Scoring
The video references combo pairings scored in the external combo builder tool — role coverage tags for solo versus group play. Cross-check suggestions against our tier list, solo builds, and trio builds inspiration video for beta-tested alternatives.
Bard-inclusive trios like Warrior / Necromancer / Bard benefit from Symphonic Aura for passive song uptime during long camps. Necromancer-heavy combos excel at solo farming with pet sustain and lifetaps.
Beta Countdown and Next Steps
