August 18, 2026 — Preview (Tuesday)
Discord and Massively Overpowered preview a Tuesday patch. Confirm official text the morning it ships:
- UI — scaling increments of 0.25 and a resizable in-game mouse cursor. See UI customization.
- Castle Mistmoore — guaranteed named, more motes, better mid gear, calmer daytime aggro. Guide: Mistmoore.
- Group XP — the intended small party bonus starts applying. Group play.
- Bristly Boar mount in the Iridium shop at roughly Spirit of the Wolf speed. Mounts.
August 5, 2026 — Hotfix
Posted on official Discord the day after the August 4 patch:
- Weekly timer on the Void-touched Potential task corrected.
- Players who could not collect their weekly token can obtain it again.
- Servers reset at 8:00 AM PDT on Tuesdays once more.
August 4, 2026 — Systems Patch
Official Natch Potes (community reading: August 4 video):
General: Buff charge counters display correctly; instances no longer close early; first Kerran loadout textures fixed; ornamentations insert into previously blocked slots (chain arms on monk arms, robes on chestplates); Aradune grave marker in East Karana; autoinventory fixes.
AA: Harm Touch IX no longer damages the caster; Full Potential stays up after swapping to a non-50 loadout.
Gameplay: Kerra Isle favors Erudite and Warrens kobold kills; Shanis MacDarren no longer sends barbarian berserkers to Haladorf; Cleave works with 1H blunt; Kerran Beastlord tiger model; New Sebilisian and Rathe Mountains guildmasters train the right skills; Crushbone apprentice finished training; Kerra Isle quest NPCs no longer leash into combat; Kerra note items right-click readable; Upper Guk named without placeholders; Ishva Mal no longer procs Harm Touch; Gloomwater Arrow drops one at a time in Kedge.
Spells: Damage spells with a stun component apply stun (still subject to recent-stun immunity); Shaman Tortoise/Slug Healing vendor prices ordered correctly; Necromancer NPCs and pets no longer cast Dark Empathy, Shadow Compact, Corporeal Empathy, or Pact of Shadow.
July 29, 2026 — Hotfix
A small day-after hotfix focused on clarity and stability:
- Buff charge counters display correctly (e.g. “17” instead of “1”).
- Kerra Isle and Plane of Sky classic music cues play more often.
- Loot tiers match your difficulty: in D1 you roll +1 or higher; in D4 you roll +4 or higher, with a diminishing chance to roll above your tier.
- Instance backend stability improved after launch traffic.
Pair loot changes with difficulty scaling and instances & lockouts.
July 28, 2026 — Launch Day Patch
General: Kerran is playable; primary race unlocks via exploring Kerra Isle. Barricades cleared in the New Sebilisian Expedition. Void-touched Potential — up to 3 per week from raid voidlings — merges like motes to raise an item or spell rank by +1. Stun immunity after being stunned (NPCs learned it too). NPC charm / loss-of-control capped at 30 seconds. Multiclass bard song/cast stuck-states improved. Auto-attack no longer sticks when a pet despawns after its owner dies.
AAs / skills: New autogrant Unbound AAs for Monk (Alacrity), Paladin (Life), Beastlord (Ferocity), Bard (Versatility), Shadow Knight (Drain), Rogue (Lethality). Enchanters gain Trickster’s Misdirection (simulacrum escape). Harm Touch ranks 9–10 add DoT; Leech Touch becomes a passive lifetap on Harm Touch. Flesh to Bone creates NODROP Bone Chips. Cleave/Frenzy reduce Rampage AA cooldown. Improved Bash uses best primary/secondary/Any slot. Quickbuff excludes lull/pacify. AA timer collisions fixed.
Gameplay & instances: Faster respawns / fewer placeholders in The Hole, Nagafen’s Lair, Lower Guk, Splitpaw, The Warrens, Mistmoore. Crushbone rare flags and scout/warden timers improved; Chokehold vulnerable to melee. No motes at class lock cap or without exp eligibility. Quitting an instance always leaves the zone. Raid bosses while loot-locked still grant one guaranteed unique-table drop plus chance at standard loot.
UI: UI Scaling (1–5) and text filtering in options — the 4K readability update from the July 27 producer letter. Pet inventory borders tint red when unequippable. Help text cleaned. “Auto Add Hater Targets” renamed to “Auto Add Hate Targets.”
Kerra Isle: Redesigned Kerran home with guildmasters, spell merchants, banker, Constructed Potential, Adventuring Supplies, and Task-system quests (Alt+Q). Starter note turns in to Guild Master; hail afterward for the island achievement. Non-Kerrans can hail a Guild Master for the unlock-path achievement. See races & Kerran.
July 14, 2026 — Pre-Order Beta (Historical)
Last major pre-launch patch: Crushbone revamp (levels 4–22), Splitpaw five-band difficulty (25–42), spell upgrade fixes, new Ranger/Berserker disciplines, and all Motes of Potential untradable. Details remain useful for dungeon routes in our dungeons guide and spell upgrades.
July 7, 2026 — Spell Tiering Phase 2 (Historical)
Instance spin-up fixes, personal charge consumption only on successful entry, pet upgrade scaling, weapon upgrade reverts, and visibility AAs. See alternate advancement and roadmap for what followed into live.
