Rujarkian Hills Open-World Zone

What we know about the Rujarkian Hills open-world zone on the EverQuest Legends live roadmap — orc highlands planned after launch, not yet in the August 2026 patch cadence.

EverQuest Legends is LIVE. Guides current through August 16, 2026 — August 18 Mistmoore preview next.

Confirmed on the Live Roadmap — Not in August Patches

Daybreak’s launch announcement listed Rujarkian Hills as a coming open-world zone alongside Deity Achievements and the Nektropos Castle mini-expansion. As of August 16, 2026 it is not live. The August 4 patch and August 5 hotfix did not add it. The August 18 update targets Mistmoore, UI cursor scaling, group XP, and a cash-shop mount — not a new continent slice.

Treat this page as a planning stub, not a camp guide. Official timing will land in producer letters and patch notes. Bookmark the roadmap and August live updates.

What Classic Players Should Expect

In original EverQuest, the Rujarkian Hills were orc highlands tied to later classic-era content — wide outdoor camps, orc strongholds, and travel routes that rewarded tracking and kiting space. Legends has not published a level band, instance rules, or loot table. Expect the same Legends systems once it ships: D0–D4 scaling, personal loot, and untradable motes.

Until then, mid-level outdoor time belongs to Faydwer courtyards after the Mistmoore revamp, Crushbone leftovers, and Odus roads out of Kerra Isle.

How It Fits Next to Nektropos and Kunark

Think of three different “next” destinations: Mistmoore (live dungeon, August 18 revamp), Rujarkian Hills (open-world zone, date TBA), Nektropos Castle (fall mini-expansion), and Kunark (winter 2026). Do not skip current BiS farms waiting for Rujarkian named lists that do not exist yet.

Finish your level 11 primary lock, stock motes, and keep a four-player group habit — those skills transfer to any new highland zone. See Nektropos and group play.
