Tradeskills at Launch

EverQuest Legends tradeskills guide: crafting at July 28 launch, level 50 storage bonus (+50 tradeskill slots), and how tradeskills fit the solo progression loop.

EverQuest Legends is LIVE. Guides current through August 16, 2026 — August 18 Mistmoore preview next.

Tradeskills Available at Launch

Classic EverQuest tradeskills return at the July 28, 2026 launch — baking, brewing, tailoring, blacksmithing, and the full classic crafting roster adapted for Legends' modern inventory systems. Developer livestreams and the July 8 producer letter confirm tradeskills are part of the base game, not a post-launch add-on.

Tradeskills pair with player housing for storage and display, and with item merging for gear you craft or farm. Solo players often pick one tradeskill line per character since True Box rules limit you to one account character per PC at launch — no alts for dedicated crafters until post-launch updates.

Level 50 Storage Bonus

The July 8 producer letter awards a one-time General Achievement for reaching level 50 on any class, granting a Class Unlock Token plus expanded alternate storage:

  • +50 tradeskill slots
  • +25 Dragon's Hoard
  • +5 activated item slots
  • +25 equipment slots
  • +25 Exaltation slots

Plan your first level-50 push using our leveling guide and 1–50 video. Additional storage can be purchased with Iridium in the in-game shop, but the level-50 achievement covers a substantial baseline for crafters.

Crafting and the Solo Loop

Tradeskills feed the solo progression loop: farm components in scaled dungeons, craft consumables and gear, merge duplicates with Motes of Potential, and push into solo raids like Plane of Sky. Watch solo raids and tradeskills coverage for community context on crafting priorities during beta.

Plane of Sky quest runes will store as currency (like motes) per the producer letter — reducing bag clutter for crafters chasing Sky keys. Post-launch patches every two to three months may expand tradeskill recipes on the roadmap.
